Wander through 9 different zones with over 100 interactive
exhibits. Some favorites include the Bubble Factory, Science
Station, Hold Your Horses and Wonder Woods. There
are activities to interest a wide age variety and it is well laid
out.

This museum has a lot to see and do! Learn the history of
UK basketball, visit a broadcast booth, learn the science of
basketball in the science gallery and play on the virtual basketball
court.
FAMILY FRIENDLY PROS- The
broadcast booth and virtual basketball court were favorites.
FAMILY FRIENDLY CONS- Younger children quickly became bored of
the exhibits.

A must for any horse lover! Admission fee includes a guided
Historic Walking Tour through the general admission areas of
Churchill Downs. The museum itself has a variety of exhibits,
including several hands-on exhibits. The kids love to take the
trivia challenge (will they answer enough questions for their horse
to win the race?!) or announce their own Derby race like a pro.
Make sure to stop in the 360 degree theatre for a Kentucky Derby
movie experience. Cafe and gift shop on-site.
FAMILY FRIENDLY PROS-
Beautiful facility; well kept. The hands-on activities were
fun for the whole family. The movie was interesting for the
whole family. The kids were excited to be able to see horses
on the tour.
